Wow...It's been a while since we last posted. No worries...we are all good and have just been keeping busy. With what?.....you ask.......well......let's see...
* We have been enjoying lots of Giants games with our friends. We've been tailgating and collecting Crazy Crab bobble heads like they are going out of style.
* Sara has been a "busy bee" getting wedding invitations assembled and addressed. Her next project is going to be favors. The folks at the "Butler/Maes" wedding headquarters are happy to report that Sara has found a dress and Mike has his tux rental squared away!
* Mike has been perfecting his career as a "guitar" player on "RockBand". Yes...we bought a PS3 and have been playing lots in our free time. We formed a band called, "A-Maes'd". (get it!). We originally named our group "S & M" but it was already taken.
* Peter and Cheryl (Sara's cousins) have asked us to be godparents. We are honored and looking forward to the baptism. (Not looking forward to the classes we are needing to take)
* Mike's parents are safe and back in their home in Paradise. They were evacuated twice and this last time, had to leave for a week. (Due to the Butte County fires) Fortunately their house was untouched and Ernie the cat was located and unscathed!
* Mike turned 40! We had a nice party with friends, family, and beer at Buffalo Bills in Hayward.
* We found out that Ann (Mike's sister) and the family are expecting twins. One is a boy and one is a girl. They are due around November but we'll see..... The twins will be joining Mike's nephew, Robert and his niece, Krystal and daddy, Rob. (Yeah Kimmels!)
